Retirement should be one of the greatest times of your life. You now have the leisure time to do things you enjoy, like traveling and visiting family members. Maintain a Healthy Weight

One of the most important things you can do later in life is maintain a healthy weight. If you keep your weight under control, you can avoid an array of health problems like high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. Eat a nutritious diet that is filled with plenty of greens, fish, whole grains and fruits. You should also aim to work out a few days a week to speed up your metabolism.
